  • County Week Semi-Finals - Day 2 - now its Northants!

    Copt Heath GC - Tuesday 19th July - After a halved series of foursomes this morning, Warwickshire won the singles against Cambridgeshire and Huntingdon handsomely to go into Match 3 with only a third win good enough to take our Ladies through to the finals, but it was a 6-3 win today Warwickshire needed to have this chance.

  • County Week - Semi-Finals - Day 1 - GREAT start

    Copt Heath GC - 18th -20th July - With a 7.5-1.5 win against Caernarvon & Anglesey, Warwickshire Ladies had a great start in their quest to find a place in County Week Finals once again, in early September. The day began with a 2-1 win in the foursomes with a big 5&3 win for Lisa Barton and 2nds Captain Bev Belcher.

  • Stage Two once again.

    Tuesday 14th June - Warwickshire will be 'at home' in the Midland Region semi-finals of County week after a fabulous performance from Captain Pat Hale's squad at the qualifying round at the Worcestershire which ended today with a win 5-4 against Worcestershire and Hereford Ladies.

  • Day 2 - Warwickshire take command

    Day Two of the qualifying round of County week saw some significant swings in matches from the morning to the afternoon and our County go to the top of the overall leaderboard. Firstly it was Worcestershire and Hereford vs Derbys and at lunch the host counties held a 3-0 lead, even at this stage putting lots of pressure on our players as with a big win today, they would go into the last match against Warwickshire with a points advantage.

  • Day 1 - Win One.

    On the superbly presented fairways and course of the Worcestershire, the first round of matches in County Weeek for 2005 has already presented the hosts Worcesteshire with the possibility of taking on our County on Day 3 for the opportunity to progress to the sem-finals of this most prestigious of Ladies Golf Championships in England. 'I'm delighted to have got off to this start', said County Captain Pat Hale after the 5.5 to 3.5 win for Warwickshire in Match 1 vs Derbyshire.

  • The Dream is over – until next year!

    ‘We came here knowing we were a good team – but we didn’t know how good were in comparison with the best. This bodes so well for the future, with the experience that it has given all the team – we can be back’, said a very proud Warwickshire Captain Pat Hale after her team’s heroic efforts.
