• Elizabeth Mallett just misses out at the Girls British Open Amateur Championship 2009

    At the Girls' British Open Amateur Championship, played at the West Lancahsire Golf Club, Elizabeth Mallett from Sutton Coldfield Golf Club played her heart out over the three days. She reached the final on Friday 14th playing against another 15 year old from France, Perrine Delacour, to lose only by 2 holes.

  • Midlands South Girls Championship 2009

    The first Girls Championship run by the Midlands South Region was held at Studley Wood Golf Club in Oxfordshire on 5th August 2009. The 36 hole event was spared any rain and although a little wet underfoot, the course proved to be a good challenge for the top girls of the six counties.

  • Girls Home International Match 2009 at Fairhaven

    Chosen to play for England in the Home Internationals at Fairhaven on 4th, 5th and 6th August 2009, Lauren Taylor (Rugby) certainly contributed well to the England win.

  • Elizabeth MALLETT is U15 CHAMPION in 2009

    The English Girls Championships were played in tough conditions in Wiltshire and had to be curtailed due to heavy rain closing the courses. If it wasn't raining it was blowing a gale! Several Warwickshire girls battled through with some outstanding personal performances.

  • Lauren TAYLOR just misses out on chance to play with the stars

    Lauren Taylor (Rugby), still only 14, played in the final qualifier for the Ricoh British Women's Open at Fairhaven on 27th July.

  • Ashley CRAMOND is the Winner

    Congratulations to Ashley Cramond from the Warwickshire Golf Club, who beat Katherine O'Connor from Tadmarton Heath Golf Club, to become the first ever Midlands South Regional Champion.

  • Midlands South Division Championships 2009

    Commencing play at Buckingham Golf Club on Tuesday 7th July 2009, three Warwickshire players had chosen to play.
