Next year, in Athens, Sir Steve Redgrave will not be rowing and any thoughts of a lesurely retirement (after Sydney) were soon dispelled as Sir Steve quickly became the star attraction on the Celebrity Golf Circuit. Three years on and Sir Steve s involvement in golf now extends to his own brand of relaxed casual and active sportswear - the Five Gold collection. |

adidas Golf introduces New Brand Mark |

adidas Golf has unveiled a new brand mark for footwear, apparel and accessories that will debut at retail in Spring 2004. The brand mark consists of a waving golf flag with three dark, horizontal stripes (a symbol synonymous with adidas) positioned beside adidas well-known three-stripe performance brandmark.
"Flags have been used to claim new territories and to crown mankind s greatest achievements," says Bob Maggiore, Global Marketing Manager for adidas Golf. "adidas Golf s new brand mark symbolises our commitment to reaching the highest level of performance and innovation in golf apparel, footwear and accessories."

When £1.2M was invested in the PGA National Golf Academy at the De Vere Belfry, the project needed an extensive range of golf driving equipment. Much of the project was fulfilled by McArdle Leisure.
McArdle Golf and Leisure are based at Abingdon. Much of their Range Servant golf driving range equipment was fitted in this brand new facility which includes club fitting facilities for most of the major manufacturers as well as a top of the range driving range, practice green, chipping facilities.
