FINAL MIDLAND LEAGUE MATCHES FOR 2007 - PREVIEW
Sunday 7th October - 1sts Home to Notts at Handsworth - 2nds away to Notts at Wollaton Park. Your Firsts team goes back to Handsworth for a second year, knowing that a big win will bring with it the Midland League Trophy. The Second travel to Wollaton, and whilst they cannot retain that league's trophy, a win is a must for our great rival's Worcestershire if they are to take that title.

The 2007 Junior Order Of Merit Championship - Saturday 6th October - The West Midlands Golf Club - The field of 18 players who will compete for the 2007 JOM is in this feature, from the more than 1000 Junior who registered and the near 300 who actually won points through 2007.
JUNIOR NEWS - Champion of Champions and last U16s match
Sunday 16th September 2007 - Geetham Valley GC - Midland Junior Champion of Champions Tournament. Sam Dodds and Jamie Carney represented Warwickshire in the Midland Champion of Champions Tournament, with some success. Over at Rugby GC, the U16s continued their winning ways whilst Boys Team manager John Simpson has announced his team to take on Notts at Wollaton Park next month, for Midland Boys League Finals.
Warwickshire 2nds vs Staffordshire
Sunday 2nd September 2007 - Edgebaston GC - Due to holidays, general availability and the very late promotion of two players to the 1st's, this month's 2nd team had an unfamiliar look to it.Debuts were handed to no less than 4 players (3 of these being juniors) and another returning to county golf after an absence of some 10 years. Alongside these were half a dozen or so of 'the regulars', this was indeed going to test the strength in depth of Warwickshire golf.
'I'M BACK!
2007 Warwickshire Open - Monday 3rd September - Maxstoke Park GC - With a second round of 68 (-3) Rory Kirwan signaled to the golfing world that he is back in action and as good as before his terrible accident in June, where he nearly severed his wrist. His two round total was two shots better than Runners Up Andy Sullivan and professional Matt Morris - both past winners of this famous trophy.
THE WARWICKSHIRE PGA FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - OPEN TO AMATEURS
Monday 10th September 2007 - Coventry Hearsall GC - the annual Warks PGA 4-Ball Championship - The Warwickshire PGA is holding its 4-Ball event this Monday at Coventry Hearsall and there are still a few spaces available. The Championship is open to any combination of Professional and Amateur (2 Pros - Pro & Amateur - 2 Amateurs).
