• MAGNIFICENT WIN FOR WARWICKSHIRE

The sun was definitely shining on Warwickshire’s yellow shirts for day two of the English County Finals at High Post, when they triumphed over Hampshire by 5 - 4 to put themselves right back into the game. The calibre of golf was phenomenal throughout the team and particularly in the top foursomes match which provided an exhibition of the highest level involving two ex-professionals and two former Curtis Cup golfers. • Belated but sincere - a big 'THANK-YOU' !

Albeit a little late (you can blame 'Ed' for that), Pat Hale writes a heartfelt note of thanks to all those in the 'greater team' involved in the triumphs of County Week.
