Warwickshire 2nds vs Staffordshire
Sunday 2nd September 2007 - Edgebaston GC - Due to holidays, general availability and the very late promotion of two players to the 1st's, this month's 2nd team had an unfamiliar look to it.Debuts were handed to no less than 4 players (3 of these being juniors) and another returning to county golf after an absence of some 10 years. Alongside these were half a dozen or so of 'the regulars', this was indeed going to test the strength in depth of Warwickshire golf.
'I'M BACK!
2007 Warwickshire Open - Monday 3rd September - Maxstoke Park GC - With a second round of 68 (-3) Rory Kirwan signaled to the golfing world that he is back in action and as good as before his terrible accident in June, where he nearly severed his wrist. His two round total was two shots better than Runners Up Andy Sullivan and professional Matt Morris - both past winners of this famous trophy.
THE WARWICKSHIRE PGA FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - OPEN TO AMATEURS
Monday 10th September 2007 - Coventry Hearsall GC - the annual Warks PGA 4-Ball Championship - The Warwickshire PGA is holding its 4-Ball event this Monday at Coventry Hearsall and there are still a few spaces available. The Championship is open to any combination of Professional and Amateur (2 Pros - Pro & Amateur - 2 Amateurs).

Midland League 2007 - R4 - Away vs Staffordshire at Brocton Hall GC - Sunday 3rd September 2007. In a dramatic finish, Warwickshire managed a draw in what could have been the decisive game of the 2007 Midland League season away vs Staffordshire. This was a match of two very different halves and leaves our team still very much in with a chance of taking the title next month with the match against Notts.
