U21s Matchplay 2003 – Ben is Back
Winning the Midland Boys is some achievement, giving a player a reputation to live up to. After last years triumph, the silky skills that Ben showed that day have been under a little bit of pressure but today, at Moor Hall, Ben added another prestigious trophy to his collection.
A very special win for Madden
John Madden only took up the game of golf in his mid 30’s. Since reaching ‘Seniors’ age, he has competed every year for Warwickshires most prestigious Trophy for the Senior golfer and twice he has lost in a play-off. There have been hiccups though and all our Juniors know of the success that the County has had, and of the players who have gone on to Tour success. One such player, and past U15s Champion, is Paul Broadhurst, a name Jack was first to mention.
Boys vs Staffs - 13th July 2003 at Harborne GC
Last Sunday, the Warwickshire 1st Team went down to one of their heaviest defeats in recent years. Last year, Warwickshire Boys blew their chances of the Midland League title with a poor performance against their opposition today, Staffs Boys. This year, it was a record win and in the singles
