Message from the President - Sue Westall
Dear Member, What a pleasurable year it has been for me. Thank you to all those Clubs who have hosted events for Warwickshire and made us so welcome. I have written a more detailed overview in September on our website, so please visit www.warksgolf.co.uk, if you have not already done so. I do hope that 2002 has been a successful golfing season for you, and that you have been able to participate in one or more of our Warwickshire competitions.
2002 Presidents Overview by Sue Westall
I am writing this overview of my first year as your President, at Ladbrook Park Golf Club, sitting in the ladies lounge- with wonderful views over the course, on a beautiful summers morning in August. It is the League semi-final, Edgbaston are playing Maxstoke Park, and I have just had the pleasure of acting as starter and then sharing a cup of Coffee with the Lady Captain ,Jane Coley, our hardworking and efficient league organiser Pam Stanley, and the lady who is to take over from Pam next year, Chris Hudson. My own club, Copt Heath, are in the other semi-final against Kenilworth at Walmley, ‘ sorry I can’t be there for you girls’.
