The England Team of four for the European Girls Team Championship which takes place at Esberg Golf Club, Denmark from 9 - 13 July 2002 has been named as follows:

at Whittington Heath Golf Club - FINAL SCORES Sara Garbutt (Ganton) won the English Ladies Stroke Play Championship at Whittington Heath Golf Club with a 72 hole total of 294. Her third round 70 - 2 under par was the low round of the week, and she finished two shots ahead of Danielle Masters (Rochester & Cobham Park). Sara also won the Under 23 Championship and Danielle the Under 21. Under 18 Champion was Emma McBride (Upton by Chester) with a 72 hole total of 307.

Almost 550 clubs entered the 2002 Rosebud Pro Am to raise money for the ELGA Trust. The winners and runners up from the County Qualifying Rounds played in the Pro Am at Abbotsley Hotel and Golf Club on 10 April 2002, the event preceded by a Gala Dinner the previous evening.
