The 2009 Warwickshire Schools ? Ingon Manor Golf & Country Club - Tuesday 14th April - Ashley Crammond has been playing in the Schools since a very tender age, and when she was a 'guest' as she wasn't at school in Warwickshire. She now goes to Myton and was busy trying to help their team as well as beating playing partners Hannah McLoughlin and past Schools winner Alice Young.

The 2009 Warwickshire Young Masters - Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club - Thursday 9th April. With an 18 hole score of 79 over Stoneleigh's top and tough par three course, Francesca Palsar beat her brother Joe to a first Warwickshire Championship, the Girls U12s.

Golf facilities across Warwickshire are encouraging as many newcomers of all ages to give golf a go by staging FREE 'taster' sessions in March/April to mark the start of a new initiative aimed at developing the game

The 36-hole stroke play foursomes competition is being held at Sand Martins Golf Club in Wokingham on Wednesday 23rd September 2009.
