Warwickshire clean up at the 5 Counties Mixed Foursomes Championship for Under 18a
Warwickshire Girls and Boys won the best gross team trophy with a 3 from 4 score of 228, one shot ahead of Staffordshire. We also won the best net trophy by half a shot from Staffordshire. This is likely to be the best achievement at this event for Warwickshire for many years.
Another record breaking Girls Championship
This year it wasn?t the course record that was smashed but the temperature record! This all added up to difficult scoring but the afternoon round produced a below handicap round of 70 for Alice Young and 72s for Hannah Coles and Lauren Clark-Hughes.
