- NUNEATON and SHIRLEY WIN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010
After a difficult start with fog preventing the start of play for 45 minutes, the day ended with everyone - players and officials - feeling that it had been a great day. Robin Hood Golf Centre once again sponsored this event by providing the prizes to both winning teams and Warwickshire are sincerely grateful for their continued support.

The sun shone on the Goodyear Challenge Cup 2010 held today, the 16 August, at Leamington & County Golf Club. 40 players took part but it was a 14 year old from Glen Gorse GC in Leicestershire who was the winner of this prestigious competition.

- SHIRLEY and STRATFORD GET THROUGH TO THE LEAGUE FINALS at THE WELCOMBE
A glorious morning was equalled only by the wonderful golf at both League semi finals to-day. After a long and very competitive golfing season it is a pleasure to firstly congratulate The Warwickshire and Stratford upon Avon for qualifying for the semi final at Olton GC and to Shirley and Maxstoke Park for qualifying for the semi final at Kenilworth GC.
- COUNTY CAPTAIN & PARTNER TAKE NETT PRIZE at EDGBASTON - Summer Meeting 2010
Dottie BEANLAND, County Captain and her partner, Liz MOVERLEY, both from Copt Heath Golf Club, had the Best Nett score of 63 in the 2010 Summer Meeting which was held at Edgbaston Golf Club, yesterday the 2nd August. Lyle & Scott were once again the very generous sponsors for this competition and all prizewinners were delighted with their prizes.
- WARWICKSHIRE GIRLS TAKE 1st and 2nd at ENGLISH GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP 2010
Elizabeth MALLETT from Sutton Coldfield Ladies GC won the English Girls Championship, which was played at Seacroft GC, Lincolnshire over the 3 days, 27th to 29th July 2010, with Lauren TAYLOR coming in as Runner up.
- Sophie THOMPSON OUTRIGHT WINNER of LEE WESTWOOD TOURNAMENT
Sophie THOMPSON aged 14 was the outright winner of the Lee Westwood tournament at the end of a 3 day Academy at The Warwickshire Golf Club.
