We had a very problematic start to the season with rain washing out our first County match against Surrey and then two attempts to run our start of season Trials which were never completed.

1st V Shropshire and Herefordshire 1st July 2012 Kenilworth Golf Club - The venue for our third match of the season against Shropshire and Herefordshire would be held at Kenilworth Golf Club which is a county favourite for our matches. The course is situated on the outskirts of Kenilworth town centre and a close neighbour to Coventry Finham Golf Club. Shropshire and Herefordshire wouldn't be the only visitors to Kenilworth as the Olympic Torch was due to pass through the town in the afternoon.

2nd Team v Shropshire & Herefordshire 2nd Team at The Wrekin Golf Club - Sunday 1st July 2012 - Following the unfortunate weather affected cancellation of our 2nd League match against Worcestershire at the beginning of June, the 2nd team were once again on their travels to Wrekin Golf Club near Telford to face Shropshire & Herefordshire.

And Ryan Wallace has a very good week - Neil Raymond achieved his goal when he successfully defended the Brabazon Trophy in the wind and rain at Walton Heath. A closing round of 72 left him two strokes clear of playing partner Kevin Phelan from Ireland, also with 72, and three ahead of the fast-finishing Jamie Rutherford.

The 2012 Warwickshire Seniors Championship - Olton GC - Monday 25th June - Not having had the best of seasons (so far) Andrew Carman was looking for an opportunity to return to winning ways and that duly happened yesterday when he took the 2012 Seniors by two shots.
