  • COUNTY MATCH WEEK - Day 2 - Buckinghamshire against Warwickshire.

    On a breezy day, the morning Foursomes saw the pairing of Elizabeth MALLETT and Liz HAYCOCK leading the way followed by Rachael RUSTED and Charlotte TAYLOR. A tense time with both matches going all the way to the 18th hole and finishing all square. Abbey GITTINGS and Lisa BARTON saw Warwickshire to a lead by winning their match 4/2. A little rain later in the morning had not dampened the spirits of the team, they were still in good shape....

  • LAUREN TAYLOR WINS LADIES' BRITISH AMATEUR CHAMPS 2011

    WLCGA sends congratulations to Lauren TAYLOR who won the Ladies' British Amateur Championship at Royal Portrush links in Northern Ireland, on 11th June. Lauren is the youngest ever player to have won this Championship and she beat Alexandra BONETTI from France 6 and 5 in the final.
