  • Fantastic away win for Boys Team

    The Boys' team played at Shirland Golf Club against Derby on Sunday and had won by 9.5 to 5.5. The match was in doubt due to heavy overnight rain which caused extensive puddles and made the course extremely wet underfoot, however after agreeing to preferred lies the match took place in ever improving weather, without further rain.

The EGU county sixes is the most prestigious amateur team event held in this country outside of the Walker Cup and is organised and run by England Golf. The Midland Golf union on their behalf administers and organises the regional qualifier and this year it is to be held at Belton Park Golf Club Grantham Lincolnshire.
